Dale Sellers
Dale
Edward Sellers of Ste. Genevieve was healed of cancer and
asleep in Jesus Saturday, September 8, 2007. He was 59
years old.
Funeral services were held
Monday, September 10, 3 p.m. at Basler Funeral Home. Burial
was in Painter Cemetery in French Village, Missouri. Basler
Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
He was born December 22, 1947,
in Huntingdon, Tennessee, a son of David Hugo and Myrtle
Faye Sellers.
He was a devoted husband and
ministry companion to Priscilla (Walk) Sellers who survives
in Ste. Genevieve.
Besides his wife he is survived
by two sons and two daughters: Matthew Sellers and his
wife, Belinda, of Albuqurque, New Mexico; Holly (Mrs. John)
Flickinger of French Village, Missouri; Hope (Mrs.
Christopher) Stringham of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Sean
Sellers of Ste. Genevieve. He was a father figure to Archie
Abejaron and Rosealie Shady from the Philippines. He was a
cherished grandfather to Mahalia Sellers and was excited to
be a grandfather to three more grandchildren in the spring
of 2008.
In addition to his immediate
family, Dale was a dear brother to Karen (Mrs. Wayne)
Wilson of Bonneville, Mississippi, Linda (Mrs. Eddie) Sayle
of Memphis, Tennessee, David Sellers and his wife, Donna,
of Huntsville, Louisiana, and Barry Sellers and his wife,
Rea, of Florence, Alabama.
Dale,
God’s holy servant, was a pastor (preacher, tlc) and
missionary who wholeheartedly served the Lord’s family,
both stateside and in the Philippines for over 35
years.
