John A. Scott, Sr.
John A. Scott, Sr. was born in Muskogoo, OK on February 6, 1925. He was a full-time preacher until 1972 when he began teaching at Harding Graduate School of Religion. His father was C. E. Scott who was born in Carroll County, TN. Brother Scott is buried at the South Woods Cemetery on Hackscross Rd. near Memphis, TN. The grave is in the Annesdale Section, plot 0807, #1. Buried in the same cemetery are C. W. Bradley and Ira Rice, Jr.
