G. W. JARRETT was born July 15, 1862, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Raised by Christian parents, he became a member of the church of Christ August 7, 1877. From Tennessee he moved to Missouri. where he spent several years preaching. His work has been in Missouri, Arkanas and Oklahoma. April, 1909, he moved to Texas, where he is devoting his time to the work of an evangelist.
