George William Austin
Born near Henderson, Tenn. in 25 June 1872. Baptized by N. B. Hardeman in April 1900. Married Mary Almina Werline on 25 Dec. 1910. He attended West Tennessee Christian College and Georgie Robertson Christian College (Freed-Hardeman College).

Churches served include: Palestine and Pottsville, TX and Lucy, Estancia and Moriarty, New Mexico.

He was a Stationary engineer, blacksith, carpenter, postmaster, teacher and bookkeeper. He supported himself while preaching in destitue fields.

In 1959, he was living in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

In the 1920 US Federal Census, he was living in Los Barelos, Bernalillo, New Mexico. He was 47 and his wife, Mina Austin, was 39.
