Tom L. Childers
Tom Childers was born near Falkner, MS in 1943. He was baptized in 1955 by Clyde Miller at the Ripley church of Christ. He married Carole Day in 1964. He entered Freed-Hardeman College in 1966 and preached his first sermon at the Beech Hill church of Christ, near Ripley, MS. He and Carole have three children and six grandchildren. They live in Henderson, TN. Tom preaches for the New Hope church of Christ, near Middleton, TN and Carole works at Freed-Hardeman University.
